We develop and manufacture customised wire, rope and miniature assemblies for medical technology. As a development partner in the field of micro wire ropes from 0.075 mm, we support manufacturers of minimally invasive instruments in the realisation of precise, reliable and series-ready solutions – from the initial idea to series production. We take biocompatibility into account right from the development phase in order to optimise materials and surfaces for direct or indirect patient contact.
Together with our customers, we define suitable materials, rope constructions, dimensions and minimum breaking force requirements. The basis is formed by micro wire ropes and strands made of high-quality stainless steels, nitinol, chromium-cobalt or tungsten, which are characterised by their high corrosion resistance and biocompatibility.
Minimally invasive medical instruments place the highest demands on mechanics, miniaturisation and reproducibility. Motion transmission must function reliably and continuously, even in extremely limited spaces.
